What is Saccidananda?

The triangle formed in the center from this union represents the physical, material world. It is a two dimensional representation of a pyramid, which is a fitting symbol for the created world of manifestations. Thus, the Saccidananda symbol is called the “Pyramid in the Eye”.  It symbolizes the viewpoint that the physical world as we know it is contained within consciousness, and not the reverse (which is the “I” in the pyramid).
